Homemade Pizza (+dairy-free version)
Ingredients :
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup water (warm)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 packet of active dry yeast or pizza yeast
- 1 tbsp salt (Kosher)
Directions :
1. Put the yeast, water, and sugar in the stand mixer bowl and mix until the yeast and sugar are dissolved. Let it sit for 10 minutes (bubbles and foam will appear)
2. Once it is ready, place it on the stand mixer and add salt and olive oil. Turn your mixer on and slowly start pouring in the flour.
3. Everything should combine perfectly, and you will end up with a big dough ball (if you do not get a nicely combined ball of dough, add a little bit of water/flour if your mixture is dry/wet
4. Remove the dough from the bowl and roll it until smooth
5. Place it into a container/bowl that has been covered with non-stick oil spray or olive oil, and cover the bowl with plastic wrap
6. Let it rest and rise (45 min minimum)
7. Depending on how many servings and how thick of a crust you want, divide the dough into 2-4 equally-sized balls
8. Roll out the dough on a floured surface
9. Cover with your favorite pizza/tomato sauce, and go over the dough with some olive oil to get that nice color and crunch
10. Bake it in the oven for 10-12 minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit (use a toothpick to determine whether your pizza is ready!)
11. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!!
